Safety
Our Safety Stats
At ACME Jet, safety is our top priority. We meet or exceed all FAA requirements for Part 135 charter operations. While the King Air is certified for single-pilot flights, we always fly with a qualified co-pilot to provide an extra layer of oversight and peace of mind.
Hours Flown
With over 35,000 hours of combined flight experience, our pilots bring unmatched expertise and professionalism to every flight. You’re in capable, confident hands.
Latest Technology
Our King Air is powered by low-time Blackhawk engines (less than 500 hours since factory new) and advanced five-blade composite propellers—delivering top-tier performance, efficiency, and safety.
Proven Reliability
The King Air has been in production since 1974 and is known as the most successful business turboprop ever built. Its short-field performance and payload capacity allow access to smaller airports and greater travel flexibility.
Our Story
About the Owner
ACME Jet was founded by Kevin Kemen—a business-minded aviation professional with a lifelong passion for flying. After using the King Air for his own business and personal travel, Kevin quickly saw growing interest from friends and colleagues who needed a safe, comfortable way to travel with their families and gear. Recognizing the demand, he earned a Part 135 charter certificate from the FAA and launched ACME Jet to offer flexible, on-demand air travel.
Kevin began flying in 1996 following eight years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he built a successful career in the construction industry, rising to the executive level. He currently owns a government contracting firm that supports the Department of Defense. Kevin also continued his military service in the Navy Reserve as an Aviation Supply Officer, where he played a key role in supporting aircraft carrier operations and F/A-18 Hornet squadrons.
